The Town of Herman is served by 4 school districts. The majority of the township is served by the school with the same name as the town, Herman School. Herman offers Kindergarten through 8th grade classes.

The people residing in the unincorporated burb of Woodland attend the Neosho Public School in Neosho, WI. Neosho offers Kindergarten through 8th grade classes as well.

Both of these grade school districts are served by one high school district. Hartford Union High School located in Hartford, WI is the school which provides this service.

A few residents on the north side of the township are located in the Mayville School District. Mayville is a Kindergarten through 12th grade school district and is located in Mayville, WI.
